Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation Enduring Freedom                               Veterans of Massachusetts

Support the local men and women who have given their all to protect our freedom by joining the OIF/OEF Veterans of Massachusetts. Our mission is to advocate for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families at the local, state, and federal level. Working on their behalf through collaboration, communication, and outreach, the OIF/OEF Veterans of Massachusetts monitor and propose legislation that upholds the very same values that all members of the United States Armed Forces swore to protect.
Who we are What we do

OIF/OEF Veterans of Massachusetts (also known as OIF/OEF) consists of Afghanistan and Iraq veterans that have transitioned from solider to civilian and understand what it means to be a Massachusetts veteran. Our diverse board of directors monitors the progress of the organization and enforces the code of ethics while simultaneously serving as a governing body. OIF/OEF has a competitive advantage due to the lack of programs in the Commonwealth's OIF and OEF veteran community, securing a stronghold for OIF/OEF in this specific part of the veteran population. OIF/OEF travels throughout Massachusetts promoting and listening to new ideas from the community while maintaining a well developed and easy-to-navigate Website that acts as a medium for veterans and their family members. The Website includes an updated legislative agenda, an event calendar, and a blog discussing the latest issues. Browse through our mission statement and history (in convenient PDF form for offline viewing) to learn more about how the OIF/OEF Veterans of Massachusetts helps our community. Call or e-mail us today for additional program information.

 Membership

Everyone is welcome to become a member. Annual membership fees for OIF and OEF veterans and Gold Star Families are waived. Other interested veterans and family members are asked for an annual $25 dollar donation, while fees for non-veteran family members are $50 a year. Membership donations are accepted through the Website, by mail, and in person.
Defending Our Rights for Tomorrow Today

OIF/OEF offers a veterans support program and solutions to the present and potential future problems facing the OIF and OEF veterans community. The severity of these issues, left alone, may cause major problems for our Commonwealth's prosperity and future, and possibly the loss of its greatest resource: its valiant citizen soldiers.

Help the cause and fight with us, join or contact us now.
